Colour: Lemon
Nose: Wonderful. Old style. Waxy. Chalky. Golden Kiwis. Mild fruitiness. So rounded. Warm. Elegant. Age plays in its cards here.
Old whiskies have so much complexities and it takes time to decipher.
Palate: Bitter fruitiness. Mild peppery notes. Some tea. Mild herbal notes. Fruit salad. Quite complex. Waxy notes. Mild liquorice. Some stem ginger but very very subtle. Lots of oiliness. Quite infused due to its age. Very savoury.
Finish: Quite long. Wonderful. Tea & some fruitiness.
Quite a classic. Old style whisky. Age plays its part quite well. Rounded and wonderful. Despite the lower ABV, this one kicks ass.
